Originally from Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, Dr. Ughovwa has come a long way to be able to practice medicine in this wonderful community that he’s called home for the last 17 years with his wife. He earned his MBBS in 1992 at the University of Lagos, Nigeria and most recently earned a Residency Internal Medicine in 2001 from State University of New York, as well as being Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He enjoys being a physician at APCH because of the camaraderie amongst the staff and the strong family bond between patients and hospital staff!
